Analysis of the Influence of Leadership Style and Work Environment on the Work Motivation of Employees of Cakra Medika Main Clinic Jakarta

Abstract

Work motivation shapes how enthusiastically employees carry out their duties, including in healthcare organizations that demand accuracy and discipline. Leadership style and work environment are assumed to influence it. This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee work motivation at Klinik Utama Cakra Medika Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was used, with primary data collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed via Google Form to 55 employees, representing the entire population (saturated sampling). The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics 27 through validity, reliability, classical assumption, multiple linear regression, t, F, and coefficient of determination tests. The results show that leadership style and work environment have a positive and significant effect on work motivation, both partially and simultaneously. Together, the two variables explain 86.1% of the variation in work motivation, with work environment having the more dominant effect. These findings suggest that clinic management should improve the work environment while strengthening supportive and fair leadership to maintain and enhance employee motivation.
