Publication Ethics
Journal of Management and Accounting Cakrawarti (JMAC) upholds the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice.
1. Duties of Authors
• Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
• Proper acknowledgment of the work of others must always be given.
• Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently.
• All sources of financial support must be disclosed.
• Authors must ensure that the manuscript contains no plagiarism. Similarity index should not exceed the journal’s threshold (maximum 25%).
2. Duties of Editors
• Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit.
• Editors ensure a fair and unbiased review process.
• Editors maintain confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
• Editors are responsible for making publication decisions based on reviewer recommendations and journal standards.
3. Duties of Reviewers
• Reviewers must provide objective and constructive feedback.
• Reviewers must maintain confidentiality of manuscripts.
• Reviewers should decline the review if there is any conflict of interest.
• Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited.
