The Effect of Role Conflict and Workload on Employees at PT Vins Teknik Internusa Bekasi City

Burnout is one of the issues that can reduce employee performance. Role conflict arising from conflicting job demands and excessive workload exceeding work capacity are suspected factors influencing employee burnout at PT Vins Teknik Internusa, Bekasi City. This study aims to analyze the influence of role conflict and excessive workload on burnout, both partially and simultaneously. This study used quantitative statistical methods with a saturated sampling technique involving 53 employees as respondents. The results showed that role conflict had a significant effect on burnout with a significance value of 0.032 < 0.05. Excessive workload also had a significant effect on burnout with a significance value of 0.005 < 0.05. Simultaneously, role conflict and excessive workload had a significant effect on burnout with a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.209 indicates that the two variables can explain 20.9% of burnout. This research provides practical implications for companies in managing role conflict and employee workload more effectively. Good management is expected to reduce employee burnout levels, thereby supporting optimal performance and helping companies achieve organizational goals more effectively and sustainably.
